Investing in LA.
Building Opportunity Together.

LA-Tech.org connects the Los Angeles tech community with untapped talent, opening doors to internships, jobs, and careers for the next generation of leaders.

We were founded by LA tech founders and CEOs who wanted to invest in their own hometown. Since 2021 we have opened the door to over 2,000 paid internships for young Angelenos, most of them the first in their family to go to college. Talent is everywhere in this city. Opportunity has not been. That is the gap we exist to close.

Investing in LA’s Future

LA Tech is a nonprofit coalition established by the Los Angeles tech community to enhance economic opportunities for underserved communities in LA. We provide LA youth with the skills and knowledge needed to break into tech through paid learning opportunities.

Together, We’re Building a Stronger LA

We believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't. That's why strong partnerships with tech leaders like BMW DesignWorks, Google, Waymo, and Microsoft and many LA based tech companies, as well as more than 250+ dedicated tech volunteers have made this a powerful year for the LA Tech community.

Volunteer

Our volunteer opportunities are mostly centered around supporting students and young people entering the tech workforce through resume reviews, mock interviews, mentorship and speaking engagements. This helps the next generation of diverse tech leaders learn and grow.
